Neurodivergent is a term used to describe people whose neurological development and functioning differ from what is considered typical or neurotypical. This includes individuals with conditions such as autism, ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), dyslexia, Tourette syndrome, PTSD, etc.

About the event

This 4-week support group is specifically designed for neurodivergent people of color to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals who belong to both these communities. This group will address the unique challenges and experiences that neurodivergent people of color may face, including cultural, social, and systemic factors.

Week 1: Introduction and Connection

Week 2: Sharing Experiences

Week 3: Coping Strategies and Resources

Week 4: Empowerment and Moving Forward
